Former EPF chief Shahril clocks to Khazanah



He fills the vacancy created by the departure of Azman Mokhtar.

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Employees Providence Fund (EPF) CEO Shahril Ridza Ridzuan clocks today in Khazanah Nasional Bhd as the new managing director

He arrived at 8:50 am in Khazanah's office in Kuala Lumpur city center, where he was welcomed by his officers.

Shahril fills the vacancy that was created by the departure of Azman Mokhtar.

Premier Dr. Mahathir Mohamad is now the new chairman of the sovereign wealth fund, replacing Najib Razak who resigned on May 31st.

Minister of Economic Affairs Mohamed Azmin Ali, Mohd Hassan Marican, Sukhdave Singh and Goh Ching Yin have also been appointed as directors. [19659004] This followed the massive offer to resign on 26 July by the nine members of the Khazanah board, including Azman. They said the move would facilitate a smooth and orderly transition under the new Pakatan Ha rapan government.
