PUTRAJAYA: The exams at the end of the year in a school in Kedah that was held on November 7, one day after Deepavali, were canceled and moved to another date, the Department of Education said.
A statement from today stated that all schools were instructed to comply with the guidelines of the ministry and the Ministry of Education.
"The date of the investigation has been canceled and changed to another date that will be communicated later," said the complaint that has recently gone viral on social media.
The ministry said it took the matter seriously and urged the school to refer to the Education Department of the state on important dates.
It said that the school should be alert to festival festivals in this country.
Hindus will celebrate Deepavali on November 6th. – Bernama
