SHAH ALAM: A claim by a man to deliver food to his motorcycle to Bulatan Kayangan after having passed dozens of plastic fans with the PPBM logo drew the attention of party president Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

According to university student Mohamad Azezul Mohd Omar (18), the incident occurred on Saturday at about 6:00 PM, when he was on his way to deliver food to a customer.

"When I arrived at the location, I found a lot of plastic fans with the red PPBM logo scattered in the middle of the road, which caused my bike to slip at Bulatan Kayangan.

"I demand compensation from the relevant parties to repair my motorcycle and my handphone that was cracked at the incident," Bernama told him on contact.

Azezul, who works part-time as a man who delivers food, said that as a result of the accident he sustained injuries on his left leg.

He uploaded an account of the event to his Twitter account under the name Vzezul.

"I just had an accident at the Kayangan roundabout in Shah Alam because of this thing, please wait until Tun M sees this, I want to claim compensation for my bike," he said on his Twitter account.

A message on Mahathir's official Twitter account asked a PPBM official to investigate the case and contact the student.

"Dear @PPBMofficial, please look in this matter and contact this gentleman. Thanks," said the message in response to the status of Vzezul.

Azezul thanked the Prime Minister for his concern.
