SHAH ALAM: A cow walked into a factory here and missed attempts by the fire service and rescue team to conquer it and led them to a four-kilometer pursuit.
A spokesman for the department said that they received a phone call about the animal on Tuesday (August 21) at about 1.26 pm.
"We received an emergency call that a cow in Jalan Pengapit 15/19, section 15, Shah Alam, had gone to a factory.
"We immediately sent a fire truck and eight personnel to the location," he said when he contacted on Tuesday.
He said, however, that the cow managed to avoid several attempts to catch it and drove four kilometers to a petrol station in Subang Jaya.
"We finally managed to catch the animal about 40 minutes later.
"We kept the animal under control and returned it to the owner around 5 pm," he said, adding that nobody, including the animal, had suffered damage during the incident.
