If you like AirAsia dishes, a treat awaits you, because we have details that will determine your day!
According to Tony Fernandes, CEO of AirAsia Group, they plan to open a fast food restaurant with the popular meals on board AirAsia. Finally we do not have to take a flight to get the delicious Nasi Lemak from Pak Nasser!
The star quoted Tony and said:
"I think our food is fantastic, and we believe in it so that we can make a fast-food restaurant out of it."
Tony dropped this exciting news about the famous American talk show "Larry King Now" when he responded to an audience question. For information: the CEO was with Larry King to promote his 2017 autobiography, "Flying High: My Story: From AirAsia to QPR".
He also shared that the restaurant will be called "Santan", which is also the name of their menu in the flight. Ah, that makes sense!
Tony said that AirAsia wants to market his restaurant food as a gourmet dining experience during the flight. Wowza, sounds super tasty!
On another issue Tony said that AirAsia uses the "technological revolution" to make flying even more comfortable. He has mentioned that briefly they work on facial recognition technology and better security techniques.
Tony also said that AirAsia works with the government to get passengers pre-approved so that they no longer have to stand in long queues.
We are certainly happy with the upcoming restaurant of AirAsia because we do not have to take a flight now just to eat their famous nasi-lemak. Do you share the same excitement as we do? Let us know in the comments below!
