Ahead of the final episode, tvN’s “Start-Up” main cast shared their closing commentary on the drama!
“Start-Up” is set in a fictional South Korean version of Silicon Valley, where young dreamers are on their way to success in the world of start-ups. Suzy stars as Seo Dal Mi, an adventurer who dreams of becoming Steve Jobs from Korea, while Nam Joo Hyuk plays Samsan Tech founder Nam Do San.
Suzy said: “I feel a mixture of happiness and sadness. During the eight months that I spent in my role as Seo Dal Mi, I felt very comforted and also very happy, so I am sad that the filming is over. She continued, “This drama has also gone so well thanks to all the wonderful staff who have worked hard for eight months. It was an honor to be a part of this production. I hope you ‘Start-Up’ to the end” supports. “
Then Nam Joo Hyuk said: “All employees and actors have worked so hard over the past eight months. Eight months felt like a long time, but it feels so short now that it’s over. I learned a lot while performing as Nam Do San and watching him grow and mature. It feels like I grew up with him. Thank you for showing so much love for ‘Start-Up’. “
Kim Seon Ho, who assumed the role of CEO Han Ji Pyeong, said, “The past eight fun and happy months have felt so long and so short at the same time. The time I spent sharing my concerns with others will become very meaningful to me. I want to thank the director, the writer, the actors, all the staff and especially all the viewers who have shown their love for the drama. Because we were together, we were able to make a good production. Keep ‘Start-Up’ in your memory. Thanks again.”
Kang Han Na, who played the sister of Seo Dal Mi’s Won In Jae, said: “In the past eight months, I immersed myself in filming as the character Won In Jae, thinking about all the young people who are facing their own challenges. I hope viewers have been able to draw positive energy not only from the story of Won In Jae, but also from the stories of the other characters. Have fun with the latest episode. Thank you.”
The last episode of “Start-Up” will air December 6 at 9:00 pm KST.
