The French authorities have determined that the 26-year-old Mexican Jessica Astorga Carballo was murdered in an apartment in Lyon, France, reports Sin Embargo.
As detailed, it was the young woman who killed her and tried to disguise the crime, first suicide.
French media reported that the family was told that the girl jumped into a void from a window on Saturday, August 11th.
However, Pierre Labastida Garnier was accused of manslaughter some time later.
According to the media Le Progrès, Garnier had no choice but to confess after two interrogations that he had strangled the young woman who was a student of architecture at the University of the Valley of Mexico.
After seeing his act, the young man tried to hide his crime and simulated a whole story while trying to cover the facts for which he is currently trapped, according to Indigo Report.
The Embassy of Mexico in France sent a declaration that showed solidarity with the victim's family.
"Mexico's embassy in France expresses its solidarity with the punishment of the compatriot's family who died in Lyon," he said in a message on Twitter, adding that "information is provided about support measures for his relatives."
