CITY OF MEXICO (apro) .- On behalf of the members of the Council
Business Coordinator (CCE), its president, Juan Pablo Castañón, felt that the best option would be to continue the construction of the New Mexico International Airport (NAIM) in Texcoco.
In an interview with Radio Fórmula he said that if there is no new information after the next meeting they will hold with Javier Jiménez Espriú, proposed to occupy the Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT), the businessmen will retain that position.
"We will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the airport options of the new government team and then give our technical opinion," he said.
The meeting with the President-elect team will take place at 5.30 pm on Tuesday and Jiménez Espriú is expected to present the studies and documents on the impact of the work.
However, Castañón stressed: "In no way do we doubt whether the best option is to continue building the New Mexico City International Airport and if the incoming government information is the same, we will ratify our diagnosis, which is the continuation Texcoco. "
The idea, he added, is that Jiménez Espriú shows them the documents that sustainably support the three options that they have proposed "any alternative that could have."
