The exlideress of National Union of Education Workers (SNTE), Elba Esther Gordillo, the journalist will prosecute Carlos Loret de Mola for moral damage, his lawyer reported Wednesday.
"When the freedom of press and expression is exercised, there are limits: in the case of Loret de Mola, he has committed false accusations, published photographs of the time of the arrest (of Gordillo), when the PGR faces covered, a series of assertions that are not only inaccurate, but also biased and false, "he explained. Marco Antonio del Toro in an interview for Grupo Fórmula.
The litigating party explained that the complaint will be presented on Thursday or Friday of this week.
Del Toro has also said that they will appeal to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) for the alleged political persecution that led to the arrest of the former union leader.
"We are going to extend the complaint to the IACHR because of political persecution and we will evaluate whether the suspects are being prosecuted (Elba Esther)," he said.
Gordillo was arrested on 26 February 2013 at Toluca airport, accused of the crimes of tax fraud, organized crime and money laundering, the last of which was still in force, was a thousand 978 million pesos.
However, Miguel Ángel Aguilar López, head of the First Unitary Criminal Court, declared a case of dismissal or cancellation of the proceedings in favor of Gordillo Morales, as the evidence submitted by the Public Prosecution Service (PPR) was inadequate.
This was the reason why the former leader of the SNTE obtained her freedom on 7 August this year.
Elba Esther was responsible for SNTE for 24 years and was part of the main group of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) when she was elected Secretary-General in 2002, a position she held until 2005.
