Lázaro Cárdenas Batel He grew up in politics and he comes from the family. His father, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas, is one of the top leaders in Mexico, his grandfather, Lázaro Cárdenas del Río, was the president who carried out the oil expropriation.

Cárdenas Batel he was governor of Michoacán from 2002 to 2008 by the Party of the Democratic Revolution, the party that founded his father.

He graduated from the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH), where he focused on native, migrant and international affairs as part of their political education.
