Mauricio Tabe separated from the position of PAN President in Mexico City.

The political institute informed via his Twitter account the separation of the president in a meeting with the secretary-general of the party in the city, Christian Lujano, and with the chairmen of the steering groups of the delegations.

"Today, the chairman of the PAN CDMX, @mauriciotabe, announces his divorce with the position of Head of the Regional Steering Committee", the PAN reported in the city.

The PAN party held the party leadership for two consecutive periods and both came as the only candidate on the day of the renewal of the function, for 2012-2015 and 2015-2018.

"Today I am separated from the position of chairman of the PAN CDMX, thank you all for your support during my administration that I was in charge of the CDR, thanks for your dedication and efforts! It was an honor and a pride to committee of @AccionNacional to preside ", Tabe was minutes later in his Twitter account.

Tabe will be deputy plurinominal of his party in the first main conference.
