López Obrador appoints Lázaro Cárdenas Batel as head of advisers

The elected President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, informed the supporters in the presidency, under which Alejandro Esquer stands out as a private secretary; Alfonso Romo, head of the cabinet of the president, Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, head of the advisors to the executive branch.

During a press conference, López informed Obrador that an adjustment was made to the current structure in the Presidium of the Republic, limiting the number of coordinations, as well as the functions, to optimize the funds.

He added that Raymundo Artis will be in the coordination of the digital strategy; Jesús Ramírez Cuevas in the coordination of social communication, and Cesar Yáñez will be in charge of the relationship with the public and social sectors, communication with administrative departments and attention to the citizens.
