In answer and as the only commitment, López Obrador asked the teachers to "take their responsibility" to go to class.
"In this way, conservatives who are against public education do not quarrel, they remove all flags, show them that the teacher acts with social responsibility and works on teaching and learning children, adolescents for the welfare of Mexico, for the well-being of the country, that is the dedication that I want us to do among all, "he added.
Especially because there are communities in Chiapas in their most recent tours "Teachers appear on Tuesday and leave Thursday", emphasized López Obrador for an audience that reacted to him in applause.
The president-elect emphasized that the salaries of teachers who earn less will be improved.
"The salaries of those at the top will be reduced, that decision has already been taken, to raise the salaries of the below," he added.
