PRI goes for Superior Chamber to challenge the solution



When he warned that he did not agree with the decision of the Regional Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judicial Branch (TEPJF), the leader of the PRI, Pedro Pablo Treviño Villarreal, indicated that the challenge for this resolution would be promoted.

The PRI leader said he would sue the situation for another electoral institute.

"There are several issues, parity, but especially from the delegates who take us, we go for the Superior Chamber," he explains.

The resolution that is now detrimental to the PRI was put forward on Monday, arguing the urgency of the start of the work in the congress on Saturday 1 September.

In this sense, the 16 places with proportional representation were reassigned, which expressed the PRI leadership's dissatisfaction.

"This does not end at the last minute, so we will challenge that resolution," said Treviño Villarreal.

Similarly, the PRI legal team announced that it would go to the Superior Chamber of the Electorral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation after the Monterrey Regional Court overturned two deputies through proportional representation.

In an interview at the edge of the regional chamber Juan José Aguilar Garnica, legal representative of the PRI, emphasized that they are still on time to be able to challenge the Superior Court, although this week the legislative power is changing.

"We have always indicated that we have respect for the institutions and the resolutions that it issues, that does not mean that we do not agree, so we are going to implement the corresponding means of defense.

"There is still time, we have to work on it (go to the Superior Room)," he said.

In this sense, the lawyer determined that those who would be the moment with the resolution of the regional chamber, Álvaro Ibarra and Juan Manuel Cavazos.

Aguilar Garnica insisted that they disagree on the content of the criteria used by the magistrates of the Regional Chamber with regard to the over- and under-representation of the deputations.
