During a visit to Monterrey, Professor Jalisco, Enrique Meléndez, a member of the board of directors of the MXM, said that MXM maintains differences in vision and legality with the current leadership of SNTE, because for them the chairman of the guild committee is still Elba Esther. is Gordillo.

"We all know that (the educational plan of the current federal government) accompanied (Juan Diaz) and accompanying him was an accomplice to support the educational reform, and with that is the feeling of the betrayal that has been made to the teachers of Mexico," said.

She added that the current bad image of Elba Esther Gordillo has caused her politics, but that the best trade union victories for the teachers have been obtained by her.

"Yes, there are the differences, they are of vision and of legality, then there is a struggle, you know what is going on between the current person at the front, Juan Díaz, and of course we want recognition of legality and legality from our point of view. and according to what we know about the statutes, the president is still Elba Esther Gordillo Morales.

"We are very happy that she is liberated, we have full confidence and this is what we have felt by the teachers of Mexico, because we have visited several states and we are happy, because we know that with her at the front a lot of the benefits we still have, "he explained.

Enrique Meléndez was in the city to protest the members of the MXM Monterrey chapter, which consists of 200 mentors. He said they are also planning to install the Guadalupe commission.

He said that the purpose of this association is to make proposals from the education sector, after they believe that the reforms in the professional education service have caused many problems for the teachers, who are still in a lack of a definition of their rights. are.

MXM, he said, also guides, with lawyers, to teachers who need it, because it is affected by this reform.

"This is the second association that we have formed, it is here in the city of Monterrey, one was already formed (in Guadalajara), this is the second one, so we will form it in Guadalupe, if they are one, if they are two if they are three, depending on the capacity and membership of the associations themselves.
