After the rape, a man who accompanied her daughter helped her: he accompanied her to her work, where Amelia was waiting for her mother, and they went to the public ministry of the Naucalpan justice center.
The young woman waited for more than seven hours without cleaning herself so that she could be examined by a doctor. After a long wait she was reprimanded by the staff, because after 13:00 she ate something: she had not even had breakfast.
