the Moroccan development of Palmeraie wants to spread from Abidjan – JeuneAfrique.com

The Moroccan family group, Palmeraie Développement, counts on the success of its projects in the catering and housing programs to give an impulse to its growth south of the Sahara.

Four years after the signing of the first partnership in the south of the Sahara in the Ivory Coast, Palmeraie Développement is taking the next step. At the end of June, the real estate subsidiary of the B-group Moroccan family B, founded by Abdelali Berrada Sounni, announced the start of a large hotel in the Plateau district of Abidjan for an investment of 25 million euros.

With 152 rooms and one of the largest business centers – 1,000 m² – in the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire, the future establishment is managed by Radisson Hotel Group, which already has a portfolio of 85 hotels on the continent.

"It is our cooperation in Morocco with this world leader in the hotel industry who has inspired the introduction of a four-star brand in terms of price, but with five-star service", says Mohamed Ben Ouda. The general manager of Palmeraie Développement recalls that such an establishment has already been opened by his partner: the Radisson Dakar Diamniadio.
