The link between Ahmad Ahmad and Morocco has cost the Kingdom 200 million dirhams, 150 million of which were spent on the Kingdom’s organization of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2018, the newspaper reports. Assabah, adding that ‘Ahmad had thanked Morocco very much for organizing this competition that different countries wanted to organize.
Outside of CHAN, Morocco has spent millions of dirhams on the CAF General Assembly organization, without winning any, except for the CHAN title awarded to it, according to some newspapers.
In addition, the continued support for Malagasy cost the Kingdom some setbacks it could have avoided. Currently, the FRMF maintains complex relationships with powerful African federations, such as those of South Africa, Tunisia and Egypt, the paper concluded.
