Organized crime is central to the talks between the Minister of the Interior and his Spanish counterpart

The Interior Minister, Abdelouafi Laftit, received his Spanish counterpart Fernando Grande-Marlaska on Friday, November 20, who is on a working visit to Morocco.

The Spanish minister assured that the meeting he had with his Moroccan counterpart was an opportunity to return to various topics, particularly the situation in the Canary Islands. “We have jointly defined several measures to continue our action against illegal immigration operations and organized crime,” he said.

This is the seventh official visit that the Spanish minister has made to Morocco since taking office in June 2018.
