An investigation was opened by the Prefectural Police Department of Tetouan against a policeman for alleged involvement in extortion and bribery.
"The security services have received a complaint from a person claiming to have been enforced by a policeman who has claimed an amount to deal with a complaint that she has filed in. Bad neighborhood," says the Directorate-General for National Security (DGSN) in a statement.
"A crackdown on this charge made it possible to arrest the suspect in the form of corruption," says the DGSN, according to which the policeman was placed in custody awaiting his presentation to the judge.
