Hajj scammers arrested

In a statement, the Directorate-General for National Security (DGSN) indicated that three brothers in Casablanca were arrested for their "alleged involvement in a major visa-forgery operation (" moujamala ") that had been reserved for the completing the pilgrimage in Mecca and marketing airline tickets purchased via piracy data. "

"The search operations resulted in the seizure of computer hardware, electronic storage media, telephone chips used in counterfeiting, as well as monetary amounts and bank transfer certificates," says DGNS.

Others have been arrested in the Oualidia region, said the same source, according to which they are suspected of hacking, and this by having illegal access to personal bank details to subsequently buy and market tickets.
