Hirak prisoners granted pardon by King Mohammed VI



188 convicts of the hirak, including 11 detainees in the Oukacha prison (Casablanca), received favor from King Mohammed VI, and learned Media24 from reliable sources.

These detainees were forgiven on the occasion of Aïd Al Adha.

The list of 11 detainees in Oukacha is as follows, according to sources close to the defense:

This list is communicated here is not official. It comes from sources close to the defense. The figure of 11 prisoners is official. The CNDH will take care of the transport of these 11 prisoners and will follow the transport of 177 others from different prisons together with the authorities.

A total of 188 Hirak prisoners were granted pardon.

> On the occasion of Eid Al AdhaKing Mohammed VI has granted his pardon to 889 people, some of whom are in detention and others to freedom, condemned by the various courts of the Kingdom, according to a statement from the Ministry of Justice:

-The beneficiaries of the royal pardon who are in custody, 844 detainees are divided as follows:

+ Thanks to the rest of the prison sentence for 188 detainees

+ Remission of imprisonment or imprisonment for 646 detainees

+ Transfer of the death sentence to life imprisonment for the benefit of four detainees

+ Transfer of life imprisonment for the benefit of 06 detainees

-The recipients of the royal pardon who have the freedom are divided by 45 people as follows:

+ Thanks to imprisonment or the rest of it in favor of 03 people

+ Thanks to the prison sentence with the maintenance of the fine for 02 persons

+ Thanks to the fine for 40 people.

>On the occasion of the youth dayKing Mohammed VI granted his pardon to 522 people, some of whom are in detention and others in freedom, condemned by the various courts of the Kingdom, a statement from the Ministry of Justice said:

– The beneficiaries of the royal pardon who are in custody are 453 prisoners as follows:

+ Thanks to the rest of the prison sentence for the benefit of 01 prisoners.

+ Compensation for imprisonment or isolation for 449 detainees.

+ Transfer of life imprisonment for the benefit of 03 prisoners.

– The beneficiaries of the royal parish who are free are 69 persons divided as follows:

+ Thanks to imprisonment or the rest of it in favor of 07 people.

+ Thanks to the prison sentence with the maintenance of the fine for 02 persons.

+ Thanks to the prison sentence and fine for 01 people.

+ Thanks to the fine for 59 people.

> On the occasion of Revolution of the King and the people, royal thanks for the benefit of 450 people, including 22 convicted in cases of extremism and terrorism

On the occasion of the King's King's Birthday and People's Revolution King Mohammed VI granted his grace 428 people convicted by different courts of the Kingdom, some of whom are in custody and others in freedom, as well as 22 persons among the convicts in cases of extremism and terrorism, the Ministry of Justice announced in a statement:

– The beneficiaries of the royal pardon who are in detention, 329 detainees are divided as follows:

+ Forgiveness of imprisonment or imprisonment for 325 detainees.

+ Transfer of life imprisonment for 4 prisoners.

– The beneficiaries of the royal parish who have the freedom are divided from 99 people as follows:

+ Thanks to the prison sentence or the rest in favor of 29 people.

+ Thanks to the prison sentence with the maintenance of the fine for 02 persons.

+ Thanks to the prison sentence and the fine in favor of 04 people.

+ Thanks to the fine for 64 people.

The king also pardoned 22 people among the convicts in cases of extremism and terrorism who participated in the second edition of the program "reconciliation"(Moussalaha), aimed at the reintegration of these prisoners and their reconciliation with society.

This program was developed in collaboration between the General Delegation for prison administration and rehabilitation, the Ministry of State for Human Rights, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs, Supreme Court for the Judiciary, the chairmanship of the Public Prosecution Service , the National Council for Human Rights, the Rabita Mohammadia of the Ulemas and the Mohammed VI Foundation for the reintegration of prisoners.

– The beneficiaries of this high royal initiative are divided as follows:

+ Thanks to the rest of the prison sentence for 17 detainees.

+ Transfer of life imprisonment for the benefit of 03 prisoners.

+ Remission of imprisonment for the benefit of 02 detainees.
