The secretariat of the state responsible for water has now been deleted. The decision has just been confirmed by a statement from the Royal Cabinet.
"M.S. the king, God forbid, approved the proposal of the head of government regarding the abolition of the state secretariat for water at the Ministry of equipment, transport, logistics and or Water," says a statement from the Royal Cabinet. And to explain that all attributions of this section are now being transferred and integrated into the structures and privileges of the parent ministry, "while working on the revision of the organization chart".
The objective of this Decision is to improve the management of water projects and projects, their effectiveness and efficiency, and the strengthening of coherence and complementarity between the different services and institutions involved in water under this Ministry, in accordance with the special importance that His Majesty the King attributes to this sector, notes the statement.
As a reminder, the state secretariat for water was led by Mrs. Charafat Afilal of the PPP.
