  What are public holidays in government services?

The Ministry of Reform of the administration and the public service announces that government services, local authorities and public institutions are unemployed from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 August. Monday and Tuesday 8 and 9 Dou Al Hijja 1439, corresponding to 20 and 21 August 2018, are public holidays in public administrations, local authorities and public institutions, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the revolution of the king and the people and the feast of youth. The days of Wednesday and Thursday 10 and 11 Al Hijja 1439, corresponding to 22 and 23 August 2018, will also be public holidays on the occasion of the Aid Al Adha.

This decision was taken in accordance with the provisions of Decision No 2 -77-169 of 9 rabia I 1397 (28 February 1977) establishing the list of holidays in public services, public establishments and services rendered, as amended and supplemented
