In 2015, France and Morocco restored their judicial cooperation. In the center of the reconciliation: Luc Chatel, then chairman of the friendship group France-Morocco.
26 February 2014. Rabat suspends all judicial cooperation with Paris after the bilateral crisis caused by the lodging of complaints in France against Moroccan dignitaries. In the midst of diplomatic unrest Luc Chatel (LR), then chairman of the friendship group France-Morocco, decided in consultation with the two ambassadors to organize a meeting between the friendship groups in Paris on 9 and 10 December 2014.
