50 kilos of chocolate in car, 3 occupants arrested Interior

The chocolates from the Merci brand were transported in large cool bags from the Lidl supermarket chain. The occupants of the car were arrested by the police because they could not give a good explanation about the origin of the chocolate and could not tell why they had the big load.

'Mobile banditry'

The three men drove in a car with a foreign license plate.

It happens more often that thieves from other countries with special bags are on the prowl in a certain Dutch region. For example, they go to a number of supermarkets to steal specific goods that are scarce or very expensive in their country of origin.
