Rapper Lil Wayne decided at the last minute to cancel his performance during the Rolling Loud festival. The rapper announces on Twitter to disagree with the search policy.
"I am sorry for everyone who wanted to see me during Rolling Loud, but I will not perform," begins Lil Wayne story. "The festival police (not the organization of the festival) want to oblige me to be checked and searched to be admitted to the site."
"I will never agree that I have to be checked to do my job," said the rapper. Lil Wayne already released the song in 2008 Do's & Don'ts or Young Money from which he raps that he does not want to be checked in places where he has been asked to perform.
Lil Wayne was not the only rapper who had to cancel his appearance at Rolling Loud. Kodak Black was arrested just before his performance for illegal possession of weapons.
To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I'm sorry but I won't be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had policed and checked to get on the stage grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job
