The source said that the super couple had a serious discussion about easing the burden of firefighters, and Kim revealed that her husband came up with a plan.
The insider noted that during the shooting of the episode the reality TV star gave $ 200,000 in checks to both the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund and the California Fire Foundation.

The news comes days after Kanye has revealed that he has plans to build a fire-resistant community.
And Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, recently urged her fans to donate to the California Fire Foundations to help those who fought with the fire.
In a series of tweets she wrote: "We spent yesterday evacuating our homes and I want to take a moment to thank all the incredibly brave firefighters, servicemen, first responders, volunteers and all those who work tirelessly to protect our lives and our houses.
"We are so grateful for your courage and all that you do for us, I pray for the safety of everyone. #Dankte # gratitude #woolseyfire (sic)"
Kris then asked her followers to show their support to the foundation, to which she has already donated.
She said, "Please pray for those affected by the fires and for those who fight to keep everyone safe! Join the CA Fire Foundation to help the firefighters who work to save people and fight the fires . @CAFireFound at (sic) "
Kris & daughter Kourtney Kardashian has also donated to the foundation and has encouraged her Twitter followers to do the same.
She wrote on the microblogging platform: "Thankful for the @CAFirefighters who risk their lives and bring people to safety during these terrible forest fires." Show your support and donate to @CAFireFound at http://cafirefoundation.org #CampFire #HillFire #WoolseyFire (sic) "
