The Duchess of Sussex scored low on the likeability factor according to a new YouGov poll that found the popularity of Meghan in the shadow of her husband, Prince Harry.

The Duchess is in sixth place on the popularity list, behind Harry, the Queen, Prince William, Kate and Prince Philip.

Meghan is more popular with women than with men, after 61 percent of women preferred the duchess who received only 50 percent of men.

Millenials and Generation X individuals – born after 1965 – are more in favor of Meghan compared to baby boomers, people born before 1949.

The Duchess was in fifth place in popularity with younger groups while older pollers placed her lower on the list, making her the 8th most popular prince among the baby boomers.

Meghan follows retired Prince Philip, who places the 5th place on the list with 56 percent approval and progresses for Prince Charles, who comes seventh with 48 percent.

The Duchess of Sussex – who has been pregnant for almost four months – joined the royal family in May and may not have had time to become as much favoritism as other more established members of the royal family.

In stark contrast to this, Meghan's husband, Prince Harry, is the most popular royal in Britain according to the poll, with 77 percent of the pollers voting in his favor.

Britons described the prince as sympathetic, humorous, sincere and fun, said the YouGov survey.

Harry's popularity did not go unnoticed; after his wedding ceremony with Meghan thousands of royal fans came to the streets of Windsor earlier in May.

After the Duke of Sussex, the queen is in second place with 74%, followed by Prince William, who is in third place with 73%.

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, placed herself directly behind her husband William and was fourth on the list with 64 percent.Since Kate married William in 2011, the Duchess has adapted to the royal life with elegance and balance, and over the years has quickly become a fan favorite.

The Duchess of Cornwall, however, was much lower on the list, while only 29 percent of the pollers had a positive opinion about her.

Camilla is in tenth place on the list, for Sophie, Countess or Wessex and Prince Edward, Earl or Wessex, who are respectively in 11th and 12th place.

Thirty-six percent of British fighters had a negative view of The Duchess of Cornwall and its negative ranking is the highest of all members of the royal family.

The YouGov survey consisted of approximately 3,700 interviews that were conducted between 15 May and 31 October 2018.
