Two men are expected to face a series of drug and firearm-related crimes on Saturday night in the Invercargill District Court.
A 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were charged after deprivation of liberty in Gore and Mataura on Friday.
One search warrant was for a car in Gore, shortly before 1:00 PM, where police say methamphetamine, cannabis plant material and cash were found.
Two search warrants were carried out simultaneously in two Mataura houses, where the police say that a rifle with pump actions and ammunition have been confiscated.
The two men face accusations of possession of methamphetamine and cannabis for delivery, and possession of firearms and ammunition.
They were taken into pre-trial detention on Saturdays in the court of Invercargill.
