It is not a sight that you will often see. This entrepreneurial minister from New Zealand cycled a kilometer from her home to the hospital when she was 42 weeks pregnant – to bring her first child. In an post on Instagram, Julie Anne Genter – who happens to be the country's minister for women – explained why she chose this unusual mode of transport. "My partner and I cycled because there was not enough space in the car." she said, adding, "It brought me in the best possible mood." Genter is only the third world leader to give birth in the office and the second from New Zealand. A few weeks ago, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, returned to work after the birth of her first child. Previously it was already 28 years ago when the Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan in the year 1990 while she was Prime Minister.
