The police are at the scene of a crash near Whangaehu, south of Whanganui.
A severe crash has closed the State Highway 3 in Whangaehu, south of Whanganui.
The crash happened around 12:30 in the vicinity of Ruatangata Rd.
It was assumed that two vehicles were involved, but the police had no information available about the severity of any injuries.
Motorists were routed along Warrengate Rd and No 2 Line north of the stage, and along Turakina Valley Rd to the south.
