Contractors cleared away from a crash at Cromwell, Central Otago on Monday.
A child and man of 18 months were injured in an accident in Cromwell, in Central Otago.
The crash took place around 11 am when a campervan and a truck crashed at the intersection of State Highway 6 and State Highway 8B.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said that a helicopter had been sent to the scene from Queenstown, as well as an ambulance. The helicopter transported a man with moderate injuries to the Dunedin hospital. The ambulance transported the toddler with minor injuries to the Dunstan hospital in Clyde.
