There was a taxi driver at Ulefoss who could tell him early on Sunday morning that he had a passenger with a knife injury in one leg.
After an hour the police arrested what they think the governor is at an address on the weekend in Nome. The police also believe that the beating of the knife took place here.
Ambulance personnel looked at the man. He blew part, but he was not badly injured, says operations manager Tore Grindem in the South East Police District.
The police received the message shortly after six o'clock in the morning and the arrest took place an hour later. Both the alleged perpetrator and the man who had been stabbed in his leg was in the 1940s.
The attacked man had gone to the arrest in Skien.
