There is a major reconnaissance after a man who has fallen overboard from a sailboat in Hjeltefjord, outside Askøy in Hordaland.
The main rescue center Sør reported the accident on Sunday at 3.36 pm.
At 7 pm the West Police District reported that a 50-year-old is still missing and that the reconnaissance campaign is in full swing from Anglavika to Ramsøy. He fell into the sea after he had a boom in his head in connection with sailing a sail in a sailboat, reports the police.
