NTB: – It is a low-pressure activity and this includes wind and precipitation, says state meteorologist Kristian Gislefoss in the meteorological institute.
From the southwest
"The consolation is that the Sunday may not look so bad after a wet Saturday, but then there will be a new low pressure on Sunday evening," he adds.
Next week and August it will be gray in Western Norway. There will be periods of breezes and rainy weather, and temperatures will be 14-15 degrees.
According to the meteorologist, the low pressure comes in the southwest. They follow the same course as the low pressure we have this week. Low pressures are formed precisely on the boundary between cold air and hot air outside the Atlantic Ocean.
White on top
The rest of the country receives a different type of host than Western Norway.
Both in the north and in the south it is sunny and warm and up to 20 degrees.
"The weather we have now is very typical for the end of August, we are approaching autumn, but at the same time we have days when the temperature is 20 degrees, and I'll call it normal," said the meteorologist.
In Northern Norway there are already opportunities for snow on the mountain tops this weekend. The mountain tops, and not the mountain crosses, emphasize Gislefoss. Then the sun comes back, and large parts of Northern Norway get sun from Tuesday and temperatures to 15 degrees.
Even Trøndelag gets a small review with the summer on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
