Explorations in Caylloma do not use water from rivers

Arequipa. The Mayra and Gaby mining explorations in the Caylloma province do not use water, so no effluent is polluted, said Alberto Osorio, Director of the Autonomous Water Supply (AAA) Caplina Ocoña.

The official criticized that the residents did not get much advice about the work in the districts of Lari and Madrigal. "You can not deny anyone, the projects are in studies and once they are ready, the results must be presented and the Ministry of Energy and Mines will evaluate the delivery of a mining concession," he said.

He stressed that during the investigation the responsible company can not win any minerals.
