Heavy rainfall is recorded from today to Wednesday in the Peruvian jungle
Rain will be recorded in the northern rainforests (Amazonas, San Martín and Loreto) from the early morning of Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 September,
The National Service for Meteorology and Hydrology reported that from today until Wednesday 5 September there will be moderate to heavy rainfall in the jungle, as a result of the 14th fringe entry of this year.
According to Senamhi's Meteorological Communication 104, these rains began this morning in the southern jungle (Madre de Dios, Puno and Cusco region). Then they go to the central jungle tonight (Huánuco, Pasco, Junín and Ucayali region) until the night of Monday 3 September.
In the northern rainforest areas (Amazonas, San Martín and Loreto) rain will be recorded from the early morning of Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 September, with accumulated fluctuations between 40 and 50 millimeters per day.
The rain will be accompanied by electric shocks and wind gusts that will reach 60 kilometers per hour and there will also be a decrease in daytime temperatures.
The departments considered in this climate forecast are Amazonas, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Pasco, Puno, San Martín and Ucayali, said the Senamhi.
