A traffic accident caused panic at the neighbors of The victory, because of the large gas balloons that were left on the runway after the truck they transported capsized.
The accident took place at the intersection of Mexico Avenue with the Andahuaylas ravine, around 10 o'clock in the morning. The plate transport truck C5M-732 would have stood on one side against an ACW-499 plate-wagon.
Fire Commander Lewis Mejía informed El Comercio that the accident had left an injured person taken as a precaution to a nearby clinic. He was in the private vehicle.
He indicated that the balloons did not explode, despite the impact: they would have rolled after the vehicle was overthrown. The firefighters had to check the balls one by one to make sure they were in good condition. Four fire units arrived at the site.
