LC Peru plane lands emergency in the Jorge Chavez after presenting failures

A plane from the LC Peru airline carrying 59 passengers landed at Jr. Chavez International Airport at 17:48 hrs., Due to problems with the landing gear.

Among the users there were 51 adults and 8 minors.

The commercial flight LC Peru 132 left Lima at 3.00 in the afternoon and was destined for the city of Ayacucho.

Due to mechanical problems in the landing gear of the aircraft, the pilot decided to return to Lima. Thus the crew applied the protocol that was established for these cases.

It was learned that the firefighters were already waiting with foam to immediately turn off each fire during the landing of the aircraft.

The National Emergency Operations Center (COEN) reported that nine children suffered bruises and were treated by Air Health personnel.

Due to the incident, the departure and arrival of flights to the capital was suspended, leading to the landing at the Pisco and Chiclayo airports. At 8.30 a.m. in the evening the General Direction of Civil Aeronautics of the MTC announced that the operations had already been resumed in the Jorge Chávez.

The company had not spoken. It is not the first time that an aircraft from LC Peru has received an emergency.
