A 47-year-old man identified as César Daniel Alvarado Hidalgo was assassinated Saturday morning in the popular Chicago district, a few blocks from the historic center of Trujillo (La Libertad).
His body was found by neighbors of block five of the street José Gálvez, at 5 am, in front of a house. The head of the Third Territorial Police Department (Dirtepol), General PNP Cesar Vallejos Mori, said the subject had a cut in the correct parietal, which would have been caused by a blunt object.
A group of neighbors indicated that the deceased lived on La Mar Street, four blocks from where his body was found. At 9 am the officer on duty ordered the removal of the corpse and his internment in the mortuary in Trujillo.
Vallejos added that Alvarado Hidalgo did not present a police file.
