TUGUEGARAO CITY – An earthquake with 3 magnates rocked the coast of the island of Calayan in Cagayan 2:11 a.m. on Friday.
According to government seismologists, the earthquake occurred barely three days after a 5-magnitude temblor rocked in the same city.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has reported on its website that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 10 kilometers southwest of Calayan.
Measured at a depth of 23 kilometers and of tectonic origin, the earthquake has no registered aftershocks from the moment of secondment.
No damages or casualties were reported after the quake according to Cagayan police and disaster risk reduction and management officials.
