President Duterte prefers & # 39; everyone & # 39; above Vice President Leni Robredo, but did not intend to expel her removal from the office, Malacañang declared Sunday.

The presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Senator Leila should hallucinate the Lima when she claimed that Duterte Robredo would want to sell the former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as a successor.

Roque insisted that the Supreme Court, and not the president, decide on the ongoing bullying protest with Robredo and Marcos.

"Hallucination in prison", said Roque in an interview with reporters at Manila airport when he was asked about De Lima's allegation about the malicious plan & # 39; from the president against Robredo.

"How can we undo that, which is being dealt with at the presidential election, the plenary assembly, not the president, so it also shows that she is not fully aware of our constitutional system – surprising because she became secretary of justice, & # 39; he said.

Roque claimed that the president would not interfere in the electoral protest against the results of the 2016 vice-presidential elections.

"He is not in a position to intervene, he also has more and more appointees, the majority is still not his appointees," he said.

He reiterated, however, that President Robredo did not like his constitutional successor. "He prefers everyone to Robredo, that's the truth, unfortunately Marcos is the only one with the appendix," he said.

The Lima recently accused the president of destroying the Robredo & # 39; s public image, supposedly to make it easy for the public to accept Marcos' victory over the PET. The senator, who is currently being held for drug-related charges, urged the public to oppose any attempt to undermine democracy and the illegitimate choice of the successor & # 39; of Duterte to force the people.

The president has earlier offered to resign after he became tired and frustrated in combating endemic corruption in the government. Duterte, however, opposed Robredo as his constitutional successor because of her alleged incompetence. He said he would rather be replaced by a military junta or competent persons like Marcos, and Sen. Francis Escudero.

The palace later said that the president could keep his word of resignation if Marcos would win his poll protest against Robredo.
