Tropical depression Luis was last spotted 430 kilometers northwest of Basco, said Batanes, the Philippine administration for atmospheric geophysical and astronomical services (Pagasa).
The tropical depression blows maximum continuous wind of 40 kilometers per hour near the center and wind gusts of up to 70 km / h. It is expected that it will leave the responsibility of the Philippines by Saturday.
A low-pressure area (LPA) was also spotted at 1.205 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.
