Urban developer Megaworld Corporation is building its fourth Belmont Hotel – this time in its 72-acre Iloilo Business Park township in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
In an unveiling of the Philippine Stock Exchange, Megaworld said that Belmont Hotel Iloilo will have 405 suites consisting of a mix of Twin Suites, Queen Suites, Junior Suites, Executive Suites and specially adapted suites for people with disabilities (PWD & # 39; s). ).
The 12-storey hotel, which is the third in the Iloilo township, will be located along the trajectory of the 1.1-kilometer-long festive Walk Parade, just a stroll from the iconic Iloilo Convention Center and the Festive Walk Mall.
It has a private pool with a lounge in the pool, a landscaped deck with pool bar and an outdoor lounge, a fitness center with sauna, a function room and a restaurant open all day.
"We have seen the enormous potential of Iloilo as a tourist destination," said Jennifer Palmares-Fong, vice president of Megaworld Iloilo for sales and marketing.
She noted: "With the Iloilo Convention Center as an important facility for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE), there is no doubt that Iloilo City needs another world-class hotel."
"And we are bringing a new Megaworld hotel brand, which has become popular among business travelers since the start of the Belmont Hotel in 2015," Fong said.
Belmont Hotel Manila, the first Belmont Hotel of Megaworld opened in Newport City, this year became the best airport hotel in the 2018 Travel and Hospitality Awards.
The second Belmont Hotel will be opened next year in Boracay Newcoast, while the third will take place in The Mactan Newtown, the 30-hectare township of the company in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
In the Iloilo Business Park, Megaworld opened its third Richmonde Hotel in 2014 and its sister company Travelers International Hotels Group, Inc., owner and operator of Resorts World Manila, opened the Courtyard by Marriott early this year.
