Malacañang has condemned the last "cowardly attack" in Sultan Kudarat and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
"We strongly reject the latest attack in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat," President Roots said in a statement.
"We are deeply saddened by the death of an innocent victim, per first report, and pray for the rapid recovery of the wounded," he added.
Roque said that the president was kept informed of all developments by the Philippine national police (PNP), who ordered his men on the ground to increase visibility and patrol and to sharpen safety.
Duterte traveled to Israel when the new deadly explosion turned Sultan Kudarat upside down.
The palace also appealed to the full participation of the public while authorities searched the perpetrators of the explosion.
"We ask the residents to report something suspicious to the authorities when we bring to justice all the guilty parties behind this vicious attack," Roque said.
One person was killed while more than a dozen others were injured after an impromptu explosion near an internet cafe in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, had exploded. The incident occurred after the fatal explosion on August 28 in the same city that killed three people and wounded several others.
