Three companies have promised to help the Department of Tourism (DoT) promote tourism in the country, said Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat. on Wednesday.
Since the cash-based budget is expected to be implemented next year, Puyat said the department would have less money, but Cebu Pacific, Jollibee and Oishi offered to help.
According to Puyat, Cebu Pacific would campaign against litter while Jollibee and Oishi promised to shoot for free and advertise.
"Our budget is a bit smaller, but we're good at it, because what's good with us, many people in the private sector are willing to help us … There's a lot of goodwill, a lot of people just want to help, "said Puyat in an interview with ABS CBN News Channel.
Puyat said she planned to promote sustainable tourism and to highlight the tourist spots in the country.
She added that the current slogan "It & # 39; s More Fun in the Philippines & # 39; is retained by the department.
