The Lublin region will be a great construction site in the coming years, not just for roads like the Puławy bypass, or the next parts of the S17 or S12 road will open in the blink of an eye – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki today. He added that other access roads are being constructed.
The Lublin region is and will be a great construction site in the coming years, not just for roads like this Puławy ring road, or the next parts of the S17 or S12 will open in the blink of an eye.
– said the Prime Minister, who participates in the opening ceremony of the second stage of the Puławy ring road along the S12 motorway, which connects the Puławy ring road with the Kurów junction on the S17 motorway, which runs from Warsaw to Lublin.
As he added, the government wants to build roads, "which were not fully inherited on maps from our predecessors"
We want to attract municipalities, poviats that have so far been neglected, economically and socially alive
– said Morawiecki.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of the S19 road, from Lublin in the north to Białystok and from the south to Rzeszów.
A road that we sometimes call the backbone of Eastern Poland. A road that will open economically, commercially the entire Lublin region in the north, but also in the south of Europe. So it will create new development perspectives. This is the way we have safety in our program for the expansion of national roads and highways
– Prime Minister said.
Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk, during the opening of the second phase of the Puławy bypass, expressed the conviction that this investment has been implemented in the right technology and quality and will serve users for many years to come.
It is a safe, comfortable route, predictable during the journey, because such roads should ultimately be Polish roads, especially the main routes
– said the minister.
Finally, we will not have any complexes, because our roads are just as modern as the roads in Western and Southern Europe
– he said, stressing that many Polish regions are now a major construction site.
Adamczyk noted that there are delays in the construction of roads due to geological or meteorological conditions.
I assure you that we are doing everything we can to minimize these delays – he emphasized.
Adamczyk also referred to the Via Carpatia route (in Poland it is S19 – PAP), with the emphasis that its construction is mainly the result of the government's decision of June 2017 to increase the limit in the national road fund to 135 PLN billion. Adamczyk also expressed the hope that the entire Polish part of Via Carpatia in 2025 will be passable.
This will be expected by the inhabitants of the eastern region of Poland and those who travel through.
