It was a big party for aviation enthusiasts – so the International Air Show, which ended today in Radom, was summed up by their coordinator, General Krzysztof Żabicki. According to estimates, the military, despite rainy weather, for two days, the air guards were guarded by more than 160,000. viewers. The best moments in their photo & # 39; s and video photos were immortalized by internet users and organizers.
The edition of the Air Show this year was honored by the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Polish military aviation. Radom organized aviation representatives from 22 countries. 150 machines presented in the air.
Despite the rainy weather, the organizers tried to fully implement the program of the event.
Nature played with us a little trick, but thanks to the great commitment of all services and the willingness of pilots and the observance of safety rules, we have completed 99% of the shows on the first day of the shows. program and on Sunday – everything that was possible in such weather

– said Radom Radkowski Witkowski, a summary of this year's event. He assured himself that he would strive for the next edition of the Air Show to take place at the already extensive airport in Radom, which will become operational in 2020.
Witkowski noted that the city – as the co-organizer of the Air Show – put a lot of energy into the preparation of the event. He remembered that the city was lyeing preparation of parking garages, security of special bus routes that served the airport. Municipal waterworks supplied drinking water. Municipal services also ensured the order and tidiness of the area during and after the event. Mazovia police ensured the safety of visitors and encouraged them to participate on Twitter.

Air Show is the largest aviation event in the country and one of the largest in Europe. During the two-day event, viewers watched a sky high evolution. The public's greatest interest was aroused by the performance of aerobatic teams. This year in Radom, you could see them 12. They were aerobatic groups, including from Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Croatia, Latvia, Jordan and Pakistan.

Poland was among others represented military aerobatic teams Biało-Czerwone Iskry i Orlik, Cellfast Flying Team and Artur Kielak Xtreme Aerobatics. There was also a static exhibition at the airport, where apart from aircraft you can also see military equipment. The organizers have also prepared thematic zones, including the history of 303 Squadron and a photo zone where you can talk to pilots and create commemorative photos.
