Eisenbichler is halfway through the leader, Kubacki second!



Markus Eisenbichler leads after the first round of Saturday’s individual World Cup competition on the Rukatunturi (HS142) hill in Ruce. The bicycle leader climbed 146 meters. The second is Dawid Kubacki (139 m) and the fourth is Piotr Żyła (136 m). The Poles advanced in their entirety to the final series.

Markus Eisenbichler flew away from his rivals in the first series. The winner of the race in Wisła landed at 146 meters and halfway through the race at Rukatunturi, he is 8.8 points ahead of Dawid Kubacki (139 m). Third, 2.1 points behind. at the pole there is Yukiya Sato (140 m), and right behind him is Piotr Żyła (136 m).

Bor Pavlovcic (134.5 m), Halvor Egner Granerud (135 m), Pius Paschke (136 m), Robert Johansson (134 m) and Ziga Jelar (129 m) were placed in the following positions. The top ten was closed jointly by Karl Geiger (129.5 m) and Artti Aigro (128.5 m).

The Poles advanced in their entirety to the final series. The twelfth place is occupied by Andrzej Stękała and Klemens Murańka (131 m each). Paweł Wąsek is sixteenth (130 m), and Kamil Stoch is twenty-second (125 m).

Daniel Andre Tande had a terrible fall after a jump of 106.5 meters. The flying world champion from Oberstdorf was transported to an ambulance for a knee examination.

The first league series was played from the 13th starting bar. Johann Andre Forfang was disqualified from starting his trial before giving the green light.
